Supporter Promise

At Women for Refugee Women, we value the dedication, compassion and generosity of supporters who make our work possible. Supporting us should be a positive and rewarding experience and this is our promise to you.

We are committed to high standards, are registered with the Fundraising Regulator and adhere to their Codes of Fundraising Practice.

We are honest:

  • We tell the truth and do not exaggerate
  • We do what we say we are going to do with the donations we receive
  • The stories we share are genuine accounts of women’s experiences; we only change names to protect women’s identities where necessary

We are respectful:

  • We’ll always be clear about how we’ll communicate with you and respect your preferences
  • We will respect your rights and privacy
  • You can change your mind at any time about how you would like us to be in touch with you

We are accountable:

  • We might turn down a donation if we feel accepting it would damage our reputation, values or independence. If we do, we’ll always explain why
  • We will manage our resources responsibly and consider the impact of our fundraising on the refugee women in our network, our supporters, the wider public and the environment
  • We will listen to feedback and respond appropriately and promptly to any complaints we receive, according to our clear complaints procedure

We are grateful to everyone who makes our work possible.
