What to do if you have to report to the Home Office

It is important to be cautious and prepared, so if you have to report to the Home Office, here are some tips to keep yourself safe:

  • Take important phone numbers with you on a piece of paper (e.g. your solicitor, Women for Refugee Women, a friend or family member)
  • Scan or take a photograph of important documents and email them to yourself (e.g. legal documents related to your case)
  • If you are on regular medication, take these with you when you report
  • Tell someone you trust, like a friend or family member, or WRW staff when you go to report, and when you safely leave reporting
