🌈 We're looking for two Rainbow Sisters volunteers 🌈
Rainbow Sisters is our supportive, welcoming, and confidential group open to LGBTQ+ women seeking asylum in the UK, or those who have received their refugee status in the last two years. The group meets a real need for a safe space and has enabled some members to understand and celebrate their identities for the first time.
Rainbow Sisters meets every week, both in-person and online, to share solidarity and friendship and to build community and peer support. Throughout the year, Rainbow Sisters take part in many exciting things including workshops, hosting visiting speakers, and annual Pride celebrations.
We are looking for two new volunteers to help run Rainbow Sisters.

Taks will involve:

- Helping members enter the building and settle into the space
- Chatting with Rainbow Sisters
- Helping facilitate sessions
There is scope for the volunteer to run their own workshops if of interest, but this isn’t a requirement.
Our in-person sessions take place at our community space near Old Street, London.
Online volunteer
