Stop big brands to stop working with Mitie

Women for Refugee Women and the End Detention group, our lived experience group of women with experience of immigration detention, are taking action!

We’re asking you to take action against Mitie and Serco and their involvement in running immigration detention centres in the UK.

Last Valentines Day we wrote letters alongside the End Detention group, urging Mitie and Serco to stop profiting from our heartbreak!

They did not listen so we decided to try a new tactic and use what Mitie and Serco care about against them – their profits. Many well known brands use Mitie for their services, for example security or cleaning and so are inadvertently causing great harm to women seeking safety.

We’re asking you to contact these brands, such as Sainsbury’s, Ikea and Bravissimo to urge them to stop working with Mitie.
